Bertram Wilberforce Wooster Bott has graduated from stealing chicken and now steals Luther's Commentarie... upon the Epistle of S. Paul to the Galathians (London: Printed by George Miller, dwelling in the Black-Fryers, 1644) intended for an upcoming list.  We're going to have to find a more productive outlet for his love of books.

Beginnings & Gratitude

Botolphston Books has been a flurry of activity these days.  We exhibited at our first book fair, the Boston "Shadow Show", last month and it was a wonderful success.  We bought lovely books, sold lovely books, met new bookish people, and got to visit with old friends. The most exciting sale of the weekend was to a young undergraduate just starting to play with the idea of collecting antiquarian books.  He was genuinely excited about the material and collecting, and walked away with one of the less expensive items.  Weekends like this are part of what makes the book trade such a nice way to spend one's working hours (and many of the non-working ones).  Thank you to everyone who came by.

This is also the start of the official website, and it seems best to give credit where credit is due.  Many thanks to both Alan Richardson and Kathy Bott for their gracious and brilliant help.
